Glass House Winery is a boutique winery located in the heart of Monticello Wine Trail in central Virginia. I am so thankful that Jeff and Michelle have chosen me to carry on the unique and beautiful winery they created. Laguna Canyon Winery is a boutique urban winery tucked into the canyon between Laguna Beach and the more populated areas of Orange County. It’s Orange County’s first urban winery, and is best known for its red wine varietals, including Petite Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc. Most people come to Bottaia to do tastings out on their patio, which overlooks the acres of vineyards on the estate and is one of the most beautiful spots in Temecula.

In addition to the restaurant, there’s also a small gift shop on site that sells wine accessories, glassware, souvenirs, and gourmet food. The establishment is located within the store with seating just outside in the outdoor patio, right in the middle of the shopping center. No worries, you are allowed to bring your own food or picnic (though no outside alcohol is allowed). Now, this isn’t technically a full-on vineyard with large amounts of land that you could tour, but it does have a tasting room and large outdoor space for enjoying your wine. While most wineries go for a ‘rustic barn’ style or perhaps a ‘cute/contemporary’ setup, Glass House is a tropically-themed glass walled tasting room.

Named for the mountain range it sits underneath, Topa produces estate-grown wines from grapes grown on-site, as well as other wines produced with grapes from neighboring farms and elsewhere in Santa Barbara County.
